This policy explains what data Barangay Defense ("the game") stores, how it is used, and where it is kept. The game is developed and published by Jan Aguja. It applies to the web version and the Android and iOS apps.
The game has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. It doesn't collect any personal information, and your game progress never leaves your device.
To remember your progress, the game saves the following on your own device:
On the web this is kept in your browser's local storage. In the Android and iOS apps it is kept in the app's private storage. None of it is sent to a server.
Clearing your browser's site data, or uninstalling the app, permanently deletes it. There is no cloud backup, so progress can't be recovered or moved to another device.
While the game is in private testing, the web version asks for a tester password. After you enter it, your browser keeps a small cookie so you aren't asked again for 30 days. The cookie only proves you entered the password. It doesn't identify you, and it isn't used for anything else.
The web version and this website are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard connection information (such as your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. The developer does not use it to identify or track players.
The game does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services or tracking libraries. The apps don't request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or any other personal data.
The game doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
